Key Accountabilities: • Lead the process of coordinating the annual strategic and operational planning processes with CBUAE’s departments by providing the required information and support to deliver on UAE vision 2021, National Agenda and other related government initiatives • Develop recommendations for Senior Management to make additions / amendments to CBUAE strategic plans • Presents CBUAE’s mission, vision, values and strategic plans to all the employees and oversee the process of communicating the approved strategic plan, operational plans and implementation roadmaps • Oversee the process of facilitating operational plans for various departments by outlining relevant methodologies and tools • Review strategic plans submitted by departments, ensure alignment to CBUAE’s strategic plans, and report to Senior Management accordingly • Participate in enhancing the corporate performance framework whilst ensuring integration between strategic and operational levels • Implement the strategic plans across CBUAE and assist in providing solutions, alternative approaches, and corrective action plans in case of any deviation from pre-defined plans • Lead the process of conducting PESTEL and SWOT analysis in order to provide economic, market and industry insights and analysis and any other studies related to the process of articulating CBUAE’s strategy and strategic objectives • Evaluate the quality and accuracy of decisions made based on survey results and ensure relevance to CBUAE’s strategic requirements • Develop and implement Quality Management System (QMS) documents such as internal policies, manuals, process descriptions, procedures, etc., across CBUAE’s departments and ensure alignment to the QMS and CBUAE Corporate Business Process • Develop and implement leading excellence initiatives/frameworks within CBUAE keeping in mind its applicability and relevance to CBUAE’s culture, people, processes, and strategy • Participate in the excellence improvement initiatives and ensure that CBUAE meets the requirements of government sponsored excellence programs and awards • Provide leadership and direction to subordinates towards the achievement of goals and objectives, as well as, motivate them to enhance performance and produce quality work • Perform any other duties within the scope of the role Position Specifications: •Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Public Policy or a related major Experience: •12 years’ experience with at least 8 years’ experience in a similar role •8 years working experience in the UAE, with appropriate familiarity with the UAE market and regulations
